I am pulling another recipe from the other blog.
With the cold temperatures, I thought a nice bowl of soup sounds good!
I hope you enjoy it.
Marie’s Bean Soup
2 TBPS Olive Oil
1 Each: Onion, Carrot, Celery stalk, diced.
3 small to medium potatoes, diced.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Cook all of the above until onion is transparent.
Add:
3 Cans Great Northern Beans
1 Smoked Chicken Thigh
1/2 bottle of Bacon Bits
1 32 oz Chicken Broth (low sodium)
Bring to boil, then simmer, covered for 1 hour.
Serve in vintage dishes.
