Last week I gave you a bit of a run-down on all the things you have to be in order to be your own boss.  It was quite a list.

Now that we have that out of the way, it’s time to get back to the fun stuff…

Having your own business!

Have you…

• Discovered your passion?
• Learned a little about it?
• Learned a bit about pricing?

If you did, Congratulations!! You are well on your way to taking that big step into what can be a very fulfilling business.

If you didn’t, it’s ok.  The best thing about the antique/vintage business is that you can go at your own pace.

Let’s start slowly and take for granted you have done the three things listed above.  The best way to learn is by doing, so let’s take that exhilarating next step and go shopping!

Unlike most businesses, you can start yours with just the change in your pocket!

Do you have $10.00 in your pocket?  See what you can find!

Remember, you are now the purchasing agent for your business, so try to buy wisely.

• If you like something, chances are good that others will too.

• Try to find something you recognize from your studies.

• Keep your initial investment low. 

Until you’ve seen that what you are buying actually sells, you don’t want to buy too much.
