I am VERY excited to be sharing a cookbook my hubby recently found for me!
It was published in 1945 by the Procter and Gamble Company and advertises Crisco.
This 1945 cookbook has a charming introduction from the Home Economics Department of the Proctor and Gamble Company, and is a practical cookbook, filled with helpful hints and simple methods for “good eating”!
I will be posting every bit of this cookbook, because we don’t often find cookbooks from the 1940’s and the recipes look DELICIOUS! I hope you will agree!
Love it! Great find! I think I have a Crisco one in my collection. I’ll have to go look. I have hundreds of vintage cookbooks. A couple of days ago, I picked up a General Mills recipe card file in pretty good shape. Not from the 40’s but it’s from the 70’s and they did a great job of making the recipes look really good!
Old cookbooks are the best! I bet you have lots of fun with them.
Thanks for stopping by!
Marie.
