I own an estate sale company and just had fun experience. I get the privilege to learn my clients life through their home and belongings. You could tell that they loved this home and cared for it deeply. I uncovered a file in their file cabinet that showed me that they purchased plans for their home from the Better Homes and Gardens “Home of the Year” 1964! It was really neat to walk through the home again with the plans in our hands. I could easily imagine the woman of the homes excitement as she watched her dream home being built and then having the privilege of living in it for all the years she had.
What an amazing find! It brings the whole experience full circle, doesn’t it? Good luck with your estates!
