Marie, I just wanted to say a BIG thank you for posting these pages from this particular Sunbeam Mixer manual. My mother had this very one until several years ago, when it mysteriously disappeared with her entire recipe folder. She has been lamenting the loss of her favorite cookie recipes, which she has been making since I was a baby. The pages were so yellowed and brittle, she had me photocopy them and permanently retire the originals. At 83, she was recently diagnosed with cancer, and I can’t tell you how glad it made me to see her so happy that I found your post. She had been wallowing on her recliner, but is now making a shopping list and having me get out her baking utensils so she can get hopping on those cookies! It’s the little things, as they say. Would you happen to have the pages of pie recipes from this same 1957 edition of the booklet? That would just be the cherry on top, and I can complete her recipe book for her. Again, much thanks.
